The process for All-on-4 dental implants typically takes one to two hours per session and takes place over two to three visits to our Purley practice, depending on the complexity of your case and how fast your implants heal.
The first step is to schedule a consultation with our dentist to discuss your options for full arch tooth replacement and see if All-on-4 implants are the right solution for you. If it is, your dentist will take digital images and impressions of your mouth to create a customised treatment plan.
On the day of the implant surgery, your dentist will place four titanium implant posts into the jawbone, which will serve as the anchors for your new set of teeth.
After the implant placement, a temporary denture is attached to the implants, giving you a full arch of teeth to function and look like natural teeth while your implants heal.
Over the next few months, the surrounding bone will gradually grow and fuse with the implant through a process called osseointegration, providing a stable and secure foundation for your brand-new set of teeth.
Once the implants have fully integrated with the bone, your permanent denture is attached to the implants. The permanent denture is custom-made to fit your mouth and mimic the appearance and function of natural teeth.

One of the best dental practices I've been to; so much so I travel out of area to attend. Both Andy and Christine have provided a great level of care - absolutely in safe hands.

The innovative All-on-4 dental implant system is used to replace a full arch of missing teeth with only four strategically-placed dental implants. All-on-4 is a popular option for people who have lost most or all of their teeth and want to replace them without the use of lots of individual implants, and it’s also a more permanent and stable solution than traditional removable dentures.
All-on-4 dental implants offer several advantages over traditional dentures, including improved comfort, stability, and oral function. With proper care and maintenance, All-on-4 dental implants can last for many years, giving you a long lasting, durable solution for full arch tooth replacement.
