Starting dental health early

Although born free of dental disease, 95% of adults have active gum disease and have experienced some form of tooth decay or loss. This shows us the importance of early and effective dental care, and we encourage families to bring in their children for regular check-ups as soon as their first tooth appears to maintain long-term dental health.

We also recommend teaching children thorough brushing techniques and good oral health habits at a young age to instil these skills for life.
