Your journey usually starts when you book a free consultation with our friendly team. Be sure to let us know if you’re a particularly nervous patient, so we can help you to feel more comfortable. You’ll also receive a text or email reminder before your appointment.
You’ll be welcomed by our friendly staff and need to fill in some forms to provide your personal and medical information, including your medical history and any medications you’re taking.
You’ll be taken to an exam room where you’ll meet the dentist and dental nurse. The dentist will chat with you about your dental history, any concerns you have, and any pain or discomfort you’re experiencing. The dentist will then perform a thorough examination of your teeth, gums, and mouth.
If necessary, your dentist might take X-rays to get a better look at your teeth and jaw. Don’t worry, X-rays are typically painless and take just a few minutes.
Based on your examination and X-rays, the dentist will work with you to create a treatment plan that addresses any issues or concerns. This might include recommendations for routine cleanings, fillings, root canals, or other cosmetic treatments. Your dentist will give you an estimate of the cost of treatment and discuss payment options with you as well.
If you’re happy to go ahead with the treatments detailed in your plan, you’ll be booked in for any necessary follow-up appointments or procedures by our lovely receptionist. We look forward to meeting you at Foxley Lane Dental!

We’re based at 49 Foxley Lane, Purley, Surrey, CR8 3EH. Our practice is conveniently located close to Purley rail station and with local bus stops close by. There is free parking on site too, making it easy to reach us whatever your means of transport. Our large, air-conditioned surgeries overlook the garden, enabling patients to enjoy our leafy corner of Purley when visiting us for dental treatment.
